Sports Therapy involves a detailed examination, assessment, diagnosis, rehabilitation and prevention of further injury, with a focus on injuries sustained during participation in sporting activity and exercise. The main aim of treatment is to help get rid of pain caused by an injury and to get individuals returned to sport at their previous performance levels by utilising a variety of treatment techniques and sport specific rehabilitation exercises.
All treatments are tailored to the individual and their specific requirements, meaning that regardless of ability or age, individuals will receive a service that is best for their needs.
Treatment is available for a variety of injuries including:
- Muscles/ligament/ tendon strains
- Muscle pain/ soreness
- Muscle stiffness
